New Camera...New Picutres!

Mom got us a great new camera for Christmas and I'm learning to use it! The problem is, it didn't take Tyler long to figure out that when the camera beeps, it's gonna flash, and it's gonna be bright...really bright...

HA! I GOTCHA!

Has it really been a month?

Where has the time gone? I think we're just now recovering from the holidays! I won't even tell you how long it took us to take the Christmas tree down! Let's see - what has happened since I last wrote...

Haley is on the move, but she has chosen a different mode of transportation than Tyler and Elli. The walker. She is everywhere! If we're in the kitchen, she's right there with us! She loves to hang out in the laundry room and watch while we bathe the other two (are you picturing us putting them in the washing machine? Don't worry, that's just where the biggest sink is)!!!! She hasn't even attempted to crawl - just lays on her belly with no interest in moving too much. At first I was worried until I walked into the nursery one night and BUSTED her up on all fours and moving around!!!! She's been practicing in her crib! One morning we went in and found her sitting up in the middle of her bed - what?!

Ellison is loving life these days! She can crawl backwards really well - sometimes too well - she ends up under the couch quite often! She also fed herself a little puff treat tonight for the first time! It's a bigger deal than I ever knew to get them to actually pick up the treat, get it positioned in between their thumb and finger, then aim correctly and hit their mouth! I was so excited I must have given her 100 pieces to eat!!! She also knows what it means when we tell her to boogie - she does this little head swing from side to side - it's absolutely hilarious, although if you didn't know what she was doing, you might think she was having convulsions!!!

Tyler is on the move...big time! He's the master of rolling on the floor, and he is trying so hard to crawl. He's up on all fours and can lunge forward to get to whatever it is he's after! He also loves the walker, although for him it's more of a Runner!! He will run toward us then right before he takes our legs out from under us, he pulls up his feet up and glides to a slow stop! Works like a charm!
