Ellison is days away from taking her first step. She just needs a little confidence and she'll be off and running! Tyler has been practicing standing up on his own, so I have a feeling he'll be right behind her! Haley, as usual, is practicing in her bed when she thinks we're not watching - knowing her, she'll wait until she's perfected it before trying it in front of anyone!
Our tooth count is 4. Ellison has one on the bottom and three on the top, and she's discovered they make a cool noise when she grinds the top ones on the bottom one. Ugh. If you're doing the math, Haley and Tyler still have NO teeth! Most kids their age are eating chicken McNuggets...ourS are still eating pureed beans. Actually, the thing they love to eat more than anything is rice and beans from our favorite mexican restaurant! Kinda hard to choke on rice and beans!
Elli weighs enough for a big girl carseat and she absolutely loves it! She gets to face forward, and you can tell by the grin on her face she thinks she is one cool chic!!!! Haley and Tyler still have a pound or so more to gain before they can face forward, so for now they are enjoying talking to Elli since they can see her from their seats! Haley is going through her second allergy season...tiny bumps on her skin...she can blame daddy for that one! She doesn't seem to be too bothered, and we know it will pass in a couple of weeks! Tyler has learned a new "call of the wild" - he sounds like a wild animal trying to round up some homies for the big takedown. I think Jeff and I are the ones he's trying to take down!!!
Jeff and I are LOVING this new phase they are in! They have been so much fun lately!
