One night when we were watching TV, a commercial came on for Disney on Ice "Finding Nemo". What?! Seriously?! I swear I was on the ticketmaster website before the commercial ended! Now let me just say this, two years ago, if someone asked me what form of torture I dreaded more than anything else, I would have said "anything to do with ice skating, or anything that would trap me in a small area with a hundred snotty toddlers". Yep, things have really changed...I bought front row seats...
So, the day after Thanksgiving, we loaded the entire family in the car, including mom, mama, Todd and Erica, and we headed to Asheville for the show. The kids were in awe! Haley initially tried to run out on the rink, but after we calmed her down she was mesmerized! No one moved a muscle except to point and wave at Nemo and all the characters! Tyler just sat with his mouth wide open for the entire show! As we were leaving, Elli tried to tell everyone goodbye, but at the time she was having a little trouble with the words "bye" and "Nemo". She was yelling, "DIE DEBO, DIE DEBO, DIE DEBO" as loud as she possible could! It was precious! I was so impressed Todd agreed to go with us (supposedly he doesn't remember agreeing to go)! Erica was excited about it, but I knew Todd was dreading it and was only doing it because he's a great uncle. Well, after the show I asked him if it was as bad as he thought it would be and his response was, "Nope. Nemo had a nice butt." Jeff shook his head in agreement. Men...
Here we are after the show!
I finally got around to printing a few recent photos of the kids and realized there are so many fun ones I haven't posted here on the blog! My friend Regina takes the greatest photos of the kids for us - I just wish they would sit still for her! Regardless of how chaotic the photo shoot seems to me, she always comes up with some great, priceless memories!!! The rest are just some cute shots I've captured along the way...enjoy!
A fortune on toys for Christmas and this is what entertains Haley!!!
What a cheese!
Ellison practicing for her Adidas photoshoot!
Remember when a pile of leaves was this exciting?
We don't get this close to eachother very often!
Tyler kept his distance - that goat was trying to eat his Nikes!
Big feet run in the family...

Merry Christmas!
We officially survived the holidays! We hope you enjoyed your time with family and friends - we definitely did!
Experiencing Christmas with children is an awesome thing. Even though the kids are still to young to "get it", it was still so neat to see how they just took it all in. Haley loved opening the presents, and Tyler and Elli were completely content to stand back and grab whatever she tossed them from the bottom of the tree!
Here are some photos...priceless!
Hmmmm...wonder when we can get out on the lake to try daddy's new toy?
Sittin' at the bar "grazing" on junk food!
Christmas can sure wear a little guy out!
Time to clean up and get ready for the new year!!!
